John Deere GreenStar 2 System
John Deere AMS is excited to introduce the GreenStar 2 System! These displays feature state-of-the-art full-color screens that allow the operator to configure and simultaneously view multiple applications on one home page.

The GS2 2600 measures 10.4 inches diagonally and features the latest in touch-screen technology. The display is very easy to read, even in direct sunlight, and can also be ordered with an optional display control that can be mounted next to the display or on the tractor CommandARM™ within easy reach of the operator.

John Deere GreenStar™ Apex

GreenStar Apex is the latest desktop field mapping software from John Deere AMS. Built all new from the ground up, it includes the latest technology in mapping in a user friendly format. Here are just some of the features that Apex will bring to your farm:

Migration from DOffice™: Apex will support an easy one time data migration from JDOffice 1.5 to Apex. This way, all of your previously collected data will be stored in one place.

Multi-client: Every copy of Apex will be multi-client capable.

Tree Structure: All data in Apex is organized in an easy to navigate format to allow you to get to the maps you want quickly and easily.

Backwards Compatibility: Apex will have the ability to unload Combine Yield Mapping files (.GSY), Field Doc and Harvest Doc files (.GSD), boundary files (.GSB), as well as any data collected with the GS2 system.

Easy Unloading: There is no cumbersome editing of data with Apex. With the click of a button the data seamlessly unloads.

Easy Saving to Data Card: Apex will allow you to choose which Fields, Products and Machines will be saved to the card.

Auto-Legends: Apex will automatically build legends from your collected data.

Reference Data: Apex uses GSDNet to access a list of the industry?s latest crop, chemical, and variety names so you don?t have to enter them manually.

Shape File Import: Apex?s open architecture is capable of importing point and polygon shape files in the industry's most common projections.

A/B Line Management: Apex allows you to store and even create your A/B lines under their appropriate fields for later use in the GS2 System.

Aerial Photos: Apex is capable of accessing aerial photos of your fields with a click of a button via GSDNet.

Split Screens: View more than one map layer at once with Apex?s split screen function.
